About Our Lake
First Cast Tackle of Haverhill proudly presents ……...
Situated in the Picardie region of France only two hours from Calais in a quiet
rural area close to the village of Bourg-et -Comin on the edge of the champagne
region.
The lake is set in 15 acres with 12 acres of water accommodating a maximum of 6
anglers with 2 acres per angler.
Newly stocked for 2007:
Carp to 50lb+, sturgeon to 65lb, catfish to 90lb. To complement the original
stock of carp catfish and pike many previously uncaught…..The lake has a depth
of 1. 5 meters to 3 meters + and has many gravel bars in which to fish over.
We here at sunset lake want all our anglers to have a great holiday. so we
welcome any questions and comments.
FACILITIES:
On site mobile home with shower and toilet facilities, two bedrooms (one double
and one twin room) , Fully fitted kitchen cooker, microwave etc. Colour
television, dvd player, bait freezers, bait boat charging.

We can also arrange all inclusive deals for parties - which includes transport,
ferry, tolls, etc - Contact us with your requirements. (Food and Drink not
included)
Meals can be delivered directly to your swim on request.
Also available for those who wish to travel to France on the Friday we can
arrange B+B @ Mrs Bevans b+b half a mile from lake.
RULES:
We have kept rules to a minimum please abide by all lake rules.
1. Barbed hooks preferred
2. Large unhooking mat essential .
3. Fish only to be sacked for maximum of 3 hours at night only.
4. Minimum of 15lb main line mono only . No leadcore.
5. Please leave lake facilities as you wish to find them.
6. 4 rods per swim.
7. Rods not to be left unattended.
8. No radios or dogs.
